ABOUT ME

Helloooo! I'm Aiysha.

I'm the founder and illustrator behind SPRINKLE+DASH CRAFTS, an illustration-led brand where I turn my art into enamel pins, stationery, and accessories. I'm hoping with my designs, I can help bring a little sprinkle of joy to your everyday life. My designs are all based on things I love, past and present, from several hobbies I've dabbled in to fandoms I'm in. My goal is just to sprinkle a little joy in your lives cos we all need a pick-me-up now and then, even when you're an older Millennial like me. I pour a lot of love into my illustrations, adding tiny, thoughtful touches to each design because I love details.

I've always wanted to have a business on my own cos frankly, I was never made for the corporate world and my parents knew it too, haha. But through out the years, my business ideas kept changing and nothing felt right to me or gave me enough confidence to take the plunge. For the longest time though, I had wanted to open my own bakery, which was how the name SPRINKLE+DASH first came about. Then life kind of got in the way and that dream changed.

These designs started out as doodles I made to escape the craziness that was 2020 and have since evolved to these adorable products that can hopefully perk up your day and make adulting a little less blegh. During the peak of lockdown, I had the thought to teach myself how to draw. At that time I was hyper-fixated on collecting enamel pins but I'd usually have to shop online and overseas for them, which made them cost a ton to ship here. Then I figured, why not make my own designs? And that was how SPRINKLE+DASH CRAFTS was born.

I did a bunch of research to figure out how it works, where to find trusted manufacturers and how to make the artwork for enamel pins. Once I figured all that out, I finalised my first 3 designs and sent them for manufacturing. I can still remember the joy of holding that first pin in my hand and was kinda amazed I actually went through with it cos at that point, it had been years of me starting and stopping a business that was based on whatever current interest I had, ones that never solidified enough for me to take it seriously. It took me another 2 years to find the courage to share my art with anyone outside of my family and friends though. And even though the first even I joined to show my work legit tanked, here I am 3 years later in 2025 still going at it.

It's been a rough road I'm not gonna lie. While I am proud of my first batch of designs, they were never my best sellers so I've had to pivot and work harder to improve my work over the years. Since then, I’ve expanded from pins to include all sorts of goodies like stickers, washi tape, and postcards. But no matter how much SPRINKLE+DASH CRAFTS grows, I promise to stay true to that original vision: bringing a little colour and whimsy to everyday life.

It's been a rough couple of years, I've made a ton of mistakes that cost a LOT of money, so I'm planning to narrow down my designs and focus on just what I do and like best instead of doing what I think others would want me to do.
